About Communication Network for Catholic Sisters (CNCS)

Catholic sisters are instrumental in the church’s mission in Kenya due to their active involvement in various pastoral works. They initiate and run projects across multiple sectors, including schools, hospitals, orphanages, social work, and addressing issues like human trafficking.

The Communication Network for Catholic Sisters in Kenya serves as a vital tool for evangelization under the Association of Sisterhoods of Kenya (AOSK), highlighting the diverse activities and impactful works of Catholic sisters in the country.

In collaboration with the Catholic Sisters Initiative of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the Communication Network for Catholic Sisters in Kenya aims to empower Catholic sisters to create, write, compile, and share their stories through various media platforms.

The primary objective of this initiative is to enable a significant number of sisters to share their narratives, demonstrate their positive influence, and advocate for issues crucial to Catholic sisters in Kenya, including integral human development, healthcare, education, and other ministries.

The Communication Network for Catholic Sisters in Kenya operates as a community-based organization, allowing Catholic sisters to craft, narrate, and portray their own stories authentically

Our missionary stories

This project will serve to enable the sisters to tell their own missionary stories, through their own eyes and words. The first phase of the project is to identify the sisters in the Social Communication ministry, and enable them to tell their own stories
