The Communications Network for Catholic Sisters (CNCS) is a media and communications initiative dedicated to amplifying the voices, missions, and impact of Catholic Sisters across Kenya and beyond. Every day, in refugee camps, rural clinics, classrooms, and rescue centres, Sisters are doing extraordinary work that rarely makes the news. CNCS exists to change that — telling the stories that often go unheard: stories of service, faith, resilience, and transformation in some of the most marginalized communities. Through documentary film, photography, audio, and digital storytelling, we take audiences to the frontlines of the Sisters’ ministries, from the fight against FGM and child marriage to the restoration of hope among refugees and survivors of trafficking.
At CNCS, we believe storytelling is a tool for mission. By documenting real-life experiences and grassroots impact with clarity, dignity, and authenticity, we help Catholic Sisters share their work with the world — informing the public, inspiring action, and building bridges between Sisters, communities, partners, and the Church. Guided by our motto, Amplifying Voices, Inspiring Mission, and anchored in our values of spirituality, promptness, integrity, and networking, we are growing a network of Sister communicators equipped with the skills and technology to tell their own stories — so that no voice of service goes unheard.
CNCS is a media and communications initiative amplifying the voices, work and identity of Catholic Sisters in Kenya. Our goal is to tell the stories that often go unheard.
